Eshet Chayil: The Woman of Valour Today

By

“A woman of valour, who can find?” — Proverbs 31:10

For too long, Proverbs 31 has been reduced to a domestic checklist or held up as an impossible standard. In its proper Hebraic context, Eshet Chayil is a battle cry — a declaration of strength, dignity, and unshakeable faith.

The Eshet Chayil is not perfect. She is faithful. She is not silent. She is wise. She is not invisible. She is the architect of her household, the voice of her community, and the strength of her people.

This sermon reclaims the original force of Proverbs 31 and casts a vision for what it looks like for women today to walk in their full identity as women of valour.
