It is one thing to be pardoned. It is another to be restored.
Pardon removes the penalty. Restoration rebuilds what was broken. Joel 2:25 captures God’s heart perfectly: “I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten.”
This is why our Safe House ministry exists. This is why we run Vocational Training. This is why we believe in mercy that builds, not just mercy that forgives. The gospel never settles for the minimum. It always pursues the full restoration of body, soul, family, and community.
